This study examines how Ahoo Daryaei’s individual resistance (removing her clothes in protest the mandatory hijab intervention in Iran) attained a global dimension through the impact of digitalization and the power of social media posts to create a sense of collective belonging. Utilizing qualitative content and thematic analysis via MAXQDA on X-Twitter data, the research highlights key themes of women’s rights, digital interaction, and regime dynamics. The core finding demonstrates that digitalization serves as a transformative force, reshaping individual discourses into transnational solidarity networks and positioning digital platforms as a new public sphere that connects local resistance with universal demands for rights and freedoms.
