Abstract

This article explores the complex and challenging relationship between intelligence and technique. It aims to reveal the problematic aspects of categorizing concepts such as instinct, intelligence, consciousness, body and mind from a deterministic perspective, especially in the context of contemporary digital technologies. The main aim of the article is to provide a philosophical and anthropological framework for understanding technological developments and to emphasize the necessity of thinking about artificial intelligence technologies together with human cognitive and social capacities. The article also underlines the importance of a cautious approach to the hyperbolic emotional reactions that technological developments often trigger. The paper proposes a multidisciplinary perspective including philosophical, evolutionary, and cultural elements to understand better the complexities surrounding the concept of AI and its evolution. The discussion focuses on the historical and anthropological background of human-machine interaction. It draws a perspective on the social and cultural implications of this interaction in the context of AI technologies. Finally, it emphasizes the necessity of analyzing technological advances concerning human cognitive and social development through a transdisciplinary framework.
